C. Loumagne, received the PhD degree in Hydrology from the Paris-Sud University, Orsay (France), in 1988. She is now a research scientist with CEMAGREF. Her current research activities include development of hydrological models and improvement of forecast methods based on remote sensing data. She is working in the following fields : hydrological modeling (rainfall-runoff models), remote sensing applications in hydrology with a family of lumped hydrologic models (GR : GR3j, GR4j, GRHUM,...), which have been widely tested over the French territory, and are used by the services of the French ministries of Agriculture and Environment. She as been involved in ERS-1 and ERS-2 ESA projects in Brittany and Brie regions (1992-1998). She is coordinator for the european CEO AIMWATER project (1998-2001, ERS applications to reservoirs management).
